Meet 'N Greets

Meet 'N Greets continue to be a major opportunity to educate the public about the many wonders of Greyhound adoption. Below are the dates (all Saturdays unless otherwise indicated), times and locations for those scheduled at this time. While anyone is welcome to attend, only Personalized Greyhounds, Inc. adopters and registered volunteers may bring their Greyhounds to these events. This is because of insurance liability coverage and the rules of the participating locations.

Please remember to call the person responsible for setting the schedule in advance of the date you can participate so that we have neither too few nor too many at one time. We especially encourage those of you who have not participated to give your Greyhound a happy social experience and help educate potential adopters, telling it like it is - the good, the not so good, whatever you have experienced. We want well-informed people as adopters who are willing to make a lifetime commitment. We do not encourage adoption out of pity. Greyhounds make wonderful pets, but they are, after all, still animals and people need to remember that animals, like we humans, are not always perfect.
